About This Game Racket: Nx is a new kind of game that challenges the limits of what you can do with a racket and ball in VR.The game is played inside a giant glass dome, the walls of which light up with targets you must destroy with the ball. But this is no ordinary ball. Hit it with force and it will slam into the wall, rolling across it and bulldozing everything in its path. Use your racket's tractor beam to pull it back, or simply to line up your next shot exactly where you want it.Targets appear in Waves, and your goal is to destroy them all before your energy runs out. But targets aren't the only thing in the arena. Hitting Boosters and Downers will replenish or drain your energy. Powerups will change the game's physics, give the ball splash damage or nuke a chunk of the arena. And the arena walls themselves change from Wave to Wave, revealing bumpers akin to a pinball machine that kick the ball around and give it extra charge. So be quick, accurate and smart.Plan your shots well. Learn to control the ball to perfection.Features:Two Single Player Modes - A Solo campaign with 20 handcrafted levels of increasing scope and difficulty to unlock and master, and an Arcade arena that features an infinite survival mode, playing harder and harder Waves - see how long you can survive!Intense Multiplayer - Play PvP matches competitively against strangers, or invite your friends to unranked matches!Nx Spatial Audio - Racket: Nx is the only VR game to use Waves Audio's Nx technology. This tech is the best of its kind in simulating positional audio, increasing immersion and spatial awareness.Sick Original Soundtrack - We took some of the biggest names in Glitch, IDM and Psytrance, and put together a crazy OSD! Don't like that kind of music? Play your own playlist ingame!Streaming Cameras and MR Support - The game offers extensive MR support (including LIV), and to make things more fun, you can turn on our automatic action cameras for your spectators to enjoy. 7aa9394dea Title: Racket: NxGenre: Action, Indie, SportsDeveloper:One HamsaPublisher:One HamsaRelease Date: 17 Jul, 2018 Download Racket: Nx .zip Racket Nx is something like Arcanoid mixed with real life tennis. It's a lot of fun, easy to learn but very hard to master. Last levels in a Campaign mode and later stages of Survival are a bit too punishing for my taste. Some of the elements that used to crank up the difficulty can kinda ruin the flow of the game. Like those wormholes or red edges of hexagons that return the ball back to the player, stopping the combo.Environment looks amazing and the GUI blends with it very well. The whole experience really feels like something from an old sci-fi movie. Naive and upbeat one, not those cyberpunk dystopias)Overall, I really like Racket Nx, it is one of those games that always feels good to jump back into for a quick match.. This is easily one of my favorite VR games and is perfect for the platform. Extremely well polished and fun, you can tell the devs put a lot of work into this game and they've made great strides since this started in early access. The physics feel great and as a tennis player it also feels satisfying. It's not a bad workout too. There is plenty to do and the sound design is top notch. I saw a couple reviews here that it hurt their wrists, this really shouldn't be the case as you should swing more like it's a tennis racket than a ping pong paddle. Anyway, I highly recommend this one!!!!. This is easily one of my favorite VR games and is perfect for the platform. Racket: Nx Open Cup 2: RACKET: Nx OPEN CUP 2!Hey everyone!A week ago we finished our first tournament and we had a TON of fun!Playing competitively definitely got the most out of us, and we found ourselves sweating, cheering and cursing like maniacs. We want to keep doing tournament, and make them bigger and better each time.We present, thus: Racket: Nx Open Cup 2. EA 1.5 Update: It's time for another update with some exciting changes. We've worked really hard on finalizing our efforts for EA 1 and this will be the last update before we launch EA 2.0 (with the exception of bug fixes/patches if need be).The most significant update here is in the actual physics of the racket/ball interactions. We did another deep pass and feel the accuracy and ability of players to execute their intended shots have increased dramatically. We also did a complete optimization pass on all game modes so you can enjoy the smoothest, uninterrupted experience and forget you're not really in a glass dome, deep in space, taking on pulsing neon targets. This is also a good opportunity to thank everyone on our discord group who participated in the beta program - your feedback and support are invaluable and your attitude is nothing short of amazing. Here's the change log:New Features Improved physics, ball handling and plow direction detection Zen mode, an additional arcade mode which is very... zenTweaks & Additions Optimizations (both CPU and GPU) Scoring tweaks in both Arcade and MP modes The gravity sling mechanics have changed to avoid abuse in multiplayer mode Gutters now pull the ball much quicker (all modes) Gutters in multiplayer only last a few seconds (to avoid stalling the game) Minor content changes and tweaks Snakes not registering hits bug fixed Several minor bug fixes Arcade levels are shuffled instead of randomized Fixed a bug in Mixed Reality with 2nd controller feature. Early Access Steam Announcement: Hey guys! Thanks for being so patient, we've been wanting to make this announcement for a long while now and are happy to say that we can finally do so with full confidence.Racket: Nx will be launching in Steam Early Access in late January 2017!We know we promised late 2016, but this delay is due to us getting a new partner on board the project, securing our ambitions for the game's development over 2017.The first Early Access release is going to include these major features:* Competitive Multiplayer* Single player mode (in addition to the current Training mode)* Additional gameplay features* A bunch of other stuff :)We'll be releasing more information about these over the next couple of months, and an official public announcement will be made towards the launch date.During 2017 we will continue to update the Early Access with content and features towards the full game release later that year. The main features we will be adding throughout 2017 are:* More multiplayer modes* A League system* Level editor and other user generated content creation and sharing tools* eSport features (observer mode, custom match settings, etc.)* Sick music ;)The main reason we're going for Steam Early Access is that we want to get something out there as soon as possible. First of all to see that people want it, but also to start getting feedback to help us understand which features to focus on, which features to dump, and just in general to tailor the game to the Vive community.Since the Demo's release, we've been getting so much helpful feedback, ideas, and love from you guys here on Steam and on Reddit. It's really what made development on this game possible for us, motivating us immensely and inspiring confidence in our partners. We'd like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your participation and efforts and we can't wait to start the Early Access process with you guys.Let's go make the sickest game VR has seen!Much love,Niv, Usul, Boof, Matan, Dave, Bozar and Egozy..
